The Health Sciences Building houses the nursing program, but benefits students in all disciplines. Located next to the Emmanuel d'Alzon Library, the Building features state-of-the art classrooms equipped with full audio/visual technology including a recording system in the simulation labs to be used for a debriefing following a lab exercise. The nursing floor features a large nursing skills lab with seven full-sized hospital beds for teaching patient care, and four simulation labs with hi-fidelity manikins that can simulate actual patient conditions, all of which can be controlled remotely by a simulation lab technician. The spacious building includes student lounges, smaller break-out spaces, de-briefing rooms and conference rooms, nine offices for faculty and staff, and suites for each of the deans.
